By using mytakehomepay.app you agree to these terms. They’re short on purpose: the site is a free calculator with no account system, no payment, and no personal data collection beyond what the privacy notice describes.

1. What this site is
mytakehomepay.app provides a take-home pay / net salary estimator for the United Kingdom, United States (federal & five states), Germany, France and Spain, with the country list expanding over time. Each estimate is computed in your browser from rules published by the relevant tax authority. The site is supported by display advertising; there is no paid tier and no purchase obligation.
2. Estimates only — not tax, legal, or financial advice
Every number on the site is an estimate. Real payslips depend on factors the site does not see: tax codes, prior-year underpayments, employer-administered benefits, salary-sacrifice arrangements, share-scheme withholdings, foreign-tax credits, family allowances, regional surcharges, and many others. You agree to treat any output as a starting point for further research, not as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
3. Accuracy commitment
The engine is continuously verified against each country’s reference calculator (HMRC for the UK; the BMF Lohn- und Einkommensteuerrechner for Germany; SmartAsset for the United States; URSSAF’s mon-entreprisefor France; Cinco Días for Spain). Tolerances are documented on the methodology page. Despite this, tax rules change and bugs happen; corrections are issued whenever a deviation is reported.
4. Your responsibilities
- Do not rely on the site as the sole basis for a financial decision.
- Do not abuse the service — no bulk scraping, no denial-of-service traffic, no attempts to circumvent rate limits or the consent banner.
- Do not present the calculator as your own work or remove attribution if you embed it.
5. Intellectual property
The calculator UI, copy, structured-data templates and the engine’s implementation are © mytakehomepay.app and licensed for personal, non-commercial use in a browser. The underlying tax rates and brackets are facts published by each country’s tax authority and are not subject to copyright. If you want to embed the calculator on your site, the public embed surface at /embed exists for that purpose; please keep the attribution strip intact.
6. Third-party services
The site loads Google Analytics 4 and Google AdSense after you accept the cookie banner. Their terms govern any data you share with them; see the privacy notice for details and opt-out routes.
7. No warranty
The site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site — including any financial loss caused by acting on an estimate.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated as the site evolves; the effective date above is revised on every material change. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. If you don’t agree, the only remedy is to stop using the site.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s country of residence; disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts there, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your own country of residence.
